The Skokie Northshore Sculpture Park is located in the Village of Skokie, IL, about 15 miles north of downtown Chicago. More than 60 monumental sculptures by a variety of international artists are displayed along a 2-mile stretch of beautifully-landscaped bike paths running next to a busy suburban roadway. Access is free of charge and open to the public seven days a week. Selection, acquisition and maintenance of the sculptures are the responsibility of a not-for-profit corporation that depends on contributions from local governments, foundations and individuals for its operating expenses. More information is available from Skokie Northshore Sculpture Park, Inc., P.O. Box 692, Skokie, IL 60076-0692.
